The vent pipe of Diaphragm Vacuum Pumps introduces atmospheric air through a one way valve in to the volume between moving blade and the discharge valve. Compression of the volume is thus reduced and the discharge valve is lifted up before the condensation of sucked vapors thereby avoiding contamination of oil.
